Job summary

AMSURG Anesthesia at the El Paso GI Center is seeking PRN CRNAs for a Monday–Friday, no nights or weekends, CRNA‑only model. This 1099 position includes professional liability insurance coverage and supports EGD and colonoscopy procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort.

Requirements include RN license, graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program, current AANA certification, BLS/ACLS, and a minimum of two years CRNA experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active, unrestricted RN license in the appropriate state.
• Graduate of a nurse anesthesia program accredited by AANA.
• Current certification from AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Minimum two years experience as a CRNA.
• Strong ethical and moral character.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• CRNAs evaluate patient health history and assess risk for anesthesia.
• Administer anesthesia, manage airway, and tailor sedation to the procedure.
• Supervise recovery and ensure patient safety post-anesthesia.
• Perform EGD and colonoscopy anesthesia support at the El Paso GI Center.

Job Requirements: You must possess the following qualifications:

• Graduate of School of Nursing
• RN with active, unrestricted state license (in appropriate state)
• Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the AANA Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor
• Current certification from AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
• Current BLS/ACLS certification
• Minimum two (2) years experience as a CRNA
• Strong ethical and moral character
• Basic computer skills
