Qualifications

Overview

Join to apply for the PRN CRNA role at Nuvia Dental Implant Center in Pittsburgh, PA. We are a growing dental implant and fixed-prosthesis center focused on patient satisfaction and well-being. We provide implants and full mouth restorations to our patients and aim to deliver life-changing results.

Our CRNAs are respected leaders in a positive, engaging culture. This is a fantastic opportunity to work autonomously in partnership with the Oral Surgeon.

This position is PRN.

Report at 6:30 AM – first surgery starts at 7:00 AM. 1099 contractor arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia with nasal intubation for full mouth dental implants in an office-based setting
• Collaborate with surgeons and dentists to optimize, develop and implement anesthesia plans
• Ensure safe and effective delivery of anesthesia by following established protocols and guidelines
• Perform pre-operative assessments and provide education to patients regarding options and potential risks
• Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia administration, patient responses, and any adverse events
• Stay up to date with evidence-based research in anesthesia techniques, medications, and equipment

Education/Experience/Licensure

• Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
• Valid certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Current ACLS and BLS from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
• Ability to obtain and maintain professional malpractice insurance
• Experience with dental anesthesia is helpful
