Job summary

Nuvia Dental Implant Center in Walnut Creek, CA is seeking a skilled CRNA to join our outpatient oral surgery team. The role is PRN and 1099 contractor, with an hourly rate starting at $275, and a daily guarantee.

You will work with the oral surgeon in an autonomous, collaborative setting focused on safe, high-quality anesthesia for full mouth dental implants. Ideal candidates have two years CRNA experience and proficiency with nasal intubations; training is available.

Qualifications

• Two years experience practicing as a CRNA.
• Experience working independently as a solo provider.
• Recent experience providing general anesthesia.
• Proficiency in nasal intubations.
• Experience delivering anesthesia in outpatient facility or surgery center.

Responsibilities

• Administer general anesthesia with nasal intubation for full mouth dental implants in an office setting.
• Collaborate with surgeons and dentists to optimize and implement anesthesia plans.
• Perform pre-operative assessments and educate patients on options and risks.
• Maintain documentation of anesthesia administration and patient responses.
• Stay current with evidence-based anesthesia techniques and equipment.

Nuvia Dental Implant Center, a growing full arch dental implant center, is looking for a skilled CRNA to join our team at our office in Walnut Creek, CA. We provide implants and full mouth restorations to our patients, providing life changing procedures. Our top priority is the satisfaction and well-being of our patients. This position is PRN

Hourly rate starts at: $275/hour, negotiable based on market

• Daily guarantee, whether you work or not

Report at 6:30 - First surgery starting at 7am

Required Experience

• Two years experience practicing as a CRNA.
• One year experience practicing independently as a solo provider
• Recent experience providing general anesthesia
• Proficient in nasal intubations
• Experience delivering anesthesia in an outpatient facility and/or surgery center

Preferred Experience

• Experience with dental anesthesia
• Experience delivering anesthesia in an office-based setting

Education/Licensure

• Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
• Valid certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Current state licensure as an APRN
• Current ACLS and BLS from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Professional malpractice insurance.

Duties

• Administer general anesthesia with a nasal intubation for full mouth dental implants in an office based setting
• Collaborate with surgeons and dentists to optimize, develop and implement anesthesia plans
• Ensure safe and effective delivery of anesthesia by following established protocols and guidelinesPerform pre-operative assessments and provide education to patients regarding options and potential risks
• Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia administration, patient responses and any adverse events
• Stay up to date with evidence-based research in anesthesia techniques, medications and equipment
