Job summary
FirstHealth of the Carolinas in Pinehurst, NC is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide PRN coverage at our flagship campus. The role offers flexible day/night shifts, a supportive team, and a competitive per diem rate with lodging allowance for 2+ shifts.
Applicants must have NCCPA certification (PA) or national certification (NP), an AMA-approved PA program or NP program, NC license/DEA, and ACLS. Join a system recognized for safety and outcomes.
Qualifications
- PA must be a graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant program and have NCCPA certification.
- NP must be a graduate of a Nurse Practitioner Education program and have national certification.
- Clean background, NC license, NC DEA, and AHA ACLS certification required.
- Must have strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and exceptional communication skills.
- A team‑first mindset and commitment to patient‑centered care is essential.
Responsibilities
- Provide PRN/Per Diem coverage for flexible day or night shifts.
- Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and nursing staff to maintain high-quality patient care.
