Local Team Collaboration:

• Work alongside board-certified critical care physicians and acute care-trained advanced practice providers to provide care to patients in the 28-bed ICU.

Qualifications:

• Board-certified acute care trained Nurse Practitioner with unrestricted license.
• Prior ICU APP practice time – minimum of 3 years post-training practice – no new graduates.
• Licensed to practice in Texas.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Practice in the Heart of the Community

Scheduling:

• PRN – No set monthly shift commitment, offering flexibility to schedule shifts as available and based on program need and your availability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality, comprehensive care to medical/surgical/cardiac/neuro ICU patients.
• Demonstrate autonomous care within an ICU setting with support from a full team of medical subspecialists; ability to work independently and multitask within the critical care team.
• Commit to clinical excellence and demonstrate problem-solving abilities to serve patients effectively.
• Provide evidence of procedural competence in central lines, arterial lines, intubations, and chest tubes.
• Use EPIC EMR system.
