Job summary

Stern-Therapy-Consultants in Quincy, MA seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a PRN role. Earn $35–$38/hour and enjoy flexible scheduling while delivering hands-on therapy to residents to improve daily living skills and independence.

Under the supervision of an OT, you’ll assist with ADLs, strength, balance, and coordination, follow prescribed treatment plans, document progress, and collaborate with the rehab team to support safe, effective care.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts COTA license required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• New graduate COTAs are welcome to apply.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide OT treatments under supervision of a licensed OT.
• Assist residents with ADLs, strengthening, balance and coordination.
• Follow individualized treatment programs.
• Observe resident responses and communicate progress to the team.
• Reinforce adaptive techniques for safety and independence.
• Complete accurate and timely treatment documentation.
• Collaborate with rehabilitation and interdisciplinary team.
