Job summary

Creekside Village seeks a PRN COTA to join our rehabilitation team in Maryland. You will provide comprehensive therapy under the supervision of an OTR and coordinate with the OT to identify suitable patients for rehab.

Responsibilities include documenting progress weekly, obtaining co-signatures, and ensuring orders for treatments, recertifications, and discharges are in place. The role requires adherence to state guidelines and active licensure.

Qualifications

• Must have current COTA license.
• One year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of an OTR.
• Assist OT in identifying appropriate patients and referring them to rehab accordingly.
• Document patient’s progress on weekly progress note in an accurate and timely fashion, and obtain the co-signature of the OTR.
• Ensure MD orders are obtained for treatments, recertification, and discharges.
• Assist with other documentation requirements as indicated and according to state guidelines.
• Attend facility and rehab meetings when indicated by the supervisor.
• Perform all other duties assigned by the department supervisor, lead therapist, or regional manager
