Job summary

Regal Heights Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Hockessin, Delaware, is seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team. The OTA will implement individualized treatments under the direction of the OT to maximize residents’ functional potential.

Responsibilities include delivery and documentation of therapy services, collaboration with OT and DOR, and ongoing plan-of-care adjustments.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an OTA program approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association and ACOTE standards.
• Valid Occupational Therapy Assistant license in Delaware.
• NBCOT certification obtained.

Responsibilities

• Attends and contributes to patient care under the direction of the OT.
• Delivery and documentation of occupational therapy services as per plan of care.
• Participates in patient care meetings and staffings under OT and DOR supervision.
• Monitors and adjusts the resident's plan of care as needed.
• Establishes professional relationships with residents and families to ensure clear communication.
