Job summary

Kei-Ai South Bay Healthcare Center in Gardena, CA is seeking a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our rehab team on a PRN basis. Qualifications

• Current, active California COTA license.
• Graduate of an accredited OTA program.
• NBCOT examination completed.
• CPR/BLS certification current.
• Continuing education requirements maintained.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans under supervision of OT.
• Deliver interventions targeting ADLs, IADLs, UE function, cognition.
• Monitor progress and report to supervising OT promptly.
• Collect data for progress notes and plan of care updates.
• Instruct patients and caregivers in home programs and safety.
• Assist transfers, positioning, and use of adaptive equipment.
• Support discharge planning and continuity of care.
• Communicate with team, patients, and families about progress.
• Prepare documentation in line with applicable standards.
