Job summary

St. Mark Village in Palm Harbor, FL is seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support residents in building function, mobility, and independence. This in-person position offers compensation of $30.00–$35.00 per hour and credit for prior experience.

You will join an award-winning, compassionate community with a flexible PRN schedule; weekends are preferred and availability to pick up shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Active Florida OT Assistant license and registration required.
• Associate’s degree from an accredited OTA program or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out care plans under the supervision of Occupational Therapists.
• Teach patients to use adaptive technology and equipment.
• Advise families on care needs following legal and clinical standards.
• Do home visits to demonstrate functional skills, mobility, and home safety.
• Lead therapeutic activities that improve physical, mental, and social functioning.
• Support the therapy team's goals and each resident's quality of life.

Education

Florida OTA license and registration

Associate’s degree from OTA program or equivalent
