Job summary

The RN II at MUSC Community Physicians (MCP) provides nursing care using the nursing process within a secure correctional setting, directing team members and collaborating with multidisciplinary staff. Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing preferred; RN with ADN/Diploma must enroll in BSN within two years and complete it within four years.
• Minimum one year of RN experience required.
• Current RN licensure in SC or a compact state; BLS required

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process and coordinate with care teams.
• Deliver age/developmentally appropriate patient-centered care in a correctional setting.
• Respond to emergencies promptly and manage care in intake, general population, segregation, and medical units.
• Maintain PREA compliance and ensure safe, secure environment.
