MUSC Community Physicians (MCP) seeks an RN II to provide comprehensive nursing care, lead team members, and collaborate with multidisciplinary staff in a secure correctional setting at Lexington County Detention Center.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, safety, and adherence to PREA and correctional protocols. RN licensure, BLS, and a BSN-driven plan are required for ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing (RN) preferred.
• RN with an Associate or Diploma must enroll in BSN within 2 years and complete within 4 years.
• Current RN licensure in SC or a compact state and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process.
• Direct and lead assigned team members in a correctional setting.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to address physical, emotional, cultural, religious, and environmental needs.
