Children’s Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for a PRN Commit program to address seasonal patient volume surges. Successful candidates will independently provide patient care, collaborate on care plans, and ensure high standards of safety and effectiveness. This role requires a commitment to teamwork, education, and cultural sensitivity in patient interactions.
The PRN Commit program is a staffing plan designed to address seasonal surges in patient volumes. Individuals will be expected to commit to a 16-week assignment, with potential extensions based on staffing needs. This is an as-needed position; external new hires should be available for 3 shifts per week during peak seasons. A completion payout is available at the end of each 16-week block.
Summary: Independently performs the functions of a registered nurse in direct patient care, utilizing the nursing process to deliver developmentally appropriate care. Collaborates with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans that meet patient and family needs.
Responsibilities:
Work Experience: Minimum 2 years PICU experience required.
Education: BSN required.
