Provide direct resident care as a PRN travel Certified Nursing Assistant in a long-term care facility near Logan, Kansas. This 13-week contract offers flexible, as-needed scheduling with pay up to $28 per hour. The role supports residents in a supportive rural setting and allows experience in both day and night shifts.
Provide direct resident care under licensed nursing staff supervision
Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
Take and record vital signs as directed
Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation
Support residents during meals and assist with feeding when needed
Observe residents for changes in condition and report concerns to nursing staff
Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
Follow resident care plans, infection-control procedures, and facility safety standards
Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Kansas or ability to obtain before starting
Ability to successfully complete required background checks, health screenings, and facility onboarding
Strong communication skills and a dependable, resident-focused approach
Flexibility to work PRN day or night shifts based on facility needs
High school diploma or GED
Current BLS/CPR certification
Previous CNA experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or senior care
