Job summary

CNA Long Term Care is seeking a dedicated aide to provide direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of an RN or LPN in a long-term care setting. The role involves assisting residents with ADLs, maintaining a safe environment, and reporting changes in condition with compassion and professionalism.

Responsibilities include accompanying residents to activities, documenting vital signs, and supporting transfers and admissions. Pay is experience-based, starting at $18.68 per hour.

Qualifications

• Assists residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Maintains accurate resident records and reports changes in status
• Cares for residents with dignity and safety, using proper lifting techniques

Responsibilities

• Accompanies residents to appointments, meals, and social activities.
• Assists in ADLs (eating, dressing, bathing, toileting, ambulating, etc).
• Assists with admissions, transfers and discharges including room prep, inventory, vitals, and CNA sections.
• Documents and reports residents’ condition and changes in status and pain.
• Lifts and turns residents with proper body mechanics according to transfer orders.
• Maintains safe, clean environment; changes linens and tidies rooms.
• Cleans equipment and areas; manages dirty linen and odors.
• Takes and records temperature, pulse, respiration, weight, and intake/output.
