Qualifications

• Must hold a current CNA license.
• Minimum 6 months experience as a CNA or clinical experience in certification class.
• Desire to serve the ill, aged and infirm.
• Able to read, write, and speak English.
• Able to deal tactfully with residents, families, and staff.
• Willingness to work harmoniously with others.
• Patient, tactful, cheerful, with enthusiasm for resident care.
• In good health with emotional stability.
• Able to relate to ill, disabled and elderly residents under varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per facility policies and nursing care procedures.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours.
• Verify resident identity before care or meals.
• Report missing ID bands promptly.
• Make beds and maintain clean bedside areas.
• Ensure water pitchers are filled and accessible.
• Perform other duties as assigned by nursing leadership.
