Job summary

Discovery at Home in Texas is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides to assist clients with activities of daily living, provide companionship, administer medications as directed, and support mobility and safe transportation to appointments.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and eating
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, promoting a positive and friendly environment
• Administer medications, as directed by healthcare professionals
• Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients
• Prepare and serve meals according to clients' dietary restrictions and preferences
• Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing
• Accompany clients to medical appointments and other outings, as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all care provided

Requirements:

• 40 Hr Certificate, Active HHA 75 hour certificate, CNA license(Required)
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required
• Must have knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid guidelines
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must have a current CPR certification.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skill proficiency. Ability to use Microsoft Windows
