Job summary

Discovery At Home seeks caring CNAs to support residents in a senior living setting. You will maintain cleanliness, assist with daily living activities, promote dignity and safety, and engage residents in meaningful life activities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CNA certification preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Experience with seniors preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, management and coworkers.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Good judgement, problem solving and decision making skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of resident’s rooms and work areas.
• Help residents maintain independence, promote dignity and safety.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating).
• Engage residents in life skills and life enrichment activities.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining cleanliness of resident’s room and work areas
• Helping residents maintain independence, promoting dignity and physical safety of each resident
• Participating and assisting residents with activities of daily living (i.e. bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating) as instructed
• Engaging residents in life skills and other life enrichment activities

Qualifications:

• Certified Nurse’s Aid certification preferred
• High School diploma/GED
• Must be 18 years of age
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with Residents, management and co-workers
• Superior customer service skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Must demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
