Job summary

Hillcrest HealthCare System in Tulsa, OK is seeking a PRN Pharmacist to join our hospital team. The clinical pharmacist optimizes patient care with safe, cost-effective pharmaceutical services including drug dispensing and IV admixture, under the direction of Pharmacy leadership.

Requirements include a B.S. or Pharm D from ACPE-accredited school, Oklahoma licensure, and BLS; ACLS for Code Blue. Preferred: Doctor of Pharmacy and 1 year inpatient hospital experience.

Qualifications

• B.S. or Pharm D. from ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• ACLS certification (ACLS required for attending Code Blue).

Responsibilities

• The clinical pharmacist optimizes patient care by providing appropriate, safe, and cost effective pharmaceutical care including drug dispensing, IV admixture program, and providing drug information.
• Works under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy and/or the Pharmacy Operations Manager and will oversee the work of pharmacy technicians, students, and support staff.

Education

Oklahoma Pharmacist license in good standing

BLS certification (within 14 days)

ACLS certification (Code Blue)
