Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Per Diem Clinical Pharmacist to join CPS, part of the Optum family, and impact patient care with a flexible per diem schedule in a hospital setting.

You will review orders, provide clinical pharmacy services, and collaborate with the care team to monitor outcomes and promote safety, while supporting operations and compliance.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist degree required (PharmD or BS Pharmacy).
• Indiana Pharmacist License in good standing.
• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Behavioral health experience preferred.
• Experience with automated dispensing cabinets preferred.

Per Diem Clinical Pharmacist

You'll work alongside an interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe, effective medication therapy and help improve outcomes for patients in a hospital setting.

What You'll Do

• Support pharmacy operations, compliance, and workflow excellence.

What We're Looking For

Required:

• PharmD, BS Pharmacy, or equivalent pharmacy degree.
• Active Indiana Pharmacist License in good standing.

Preferred:

• Hospital pharmacy experience.
• Behavioral health experience.
• Experience with automated dispensing cabinets.

Schedule Highlights

• Flexible per diem coverage.
• Day shifts available Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM.
• Opportunity to participate in evening and weekend on-call coverage.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $44.00 to $79.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
