Description

This position involves working in our Clinical Operations Department performing phlebotomy, obtaining vital signs, sample collection, customer service, and documentation. Our phlebotomists are responsible for venipuncture and the accurate organization, recording, and processing of blood samples in accordance with SOPs/PRCs and protocol specifications. The role requires collaboration with clinical staff to ensure procedures are completed efficiently and in compliance with applicable rules and regulations regarding human subjects in research.

This position's working hours are dictated by study activity and may include weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

  • Read and understand the guidelines of the study protocols.
  • Perform venipuncture.
  • Label and QC specimen containers according to protocol specifications.
  • Work effectively with participants and team members.
  • Record specimen collection accurately.
  • Process samples according to protocol specifications.
  • Conduct patch assessment evaluations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a phlebotomist.
  • Experience performing vital sign checks is preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Dependability and punctuality.
