Job Summary:

MedStar Health is seeking a PRN Clinical Dietitian to join our team at MedStar St. Mary's Hospital. As a Clinical Dietitian, you will play a crucial role in providing personalized nutrition care to patients at MedStar St. Mary's Hospital. This is a PRN position with rotating weekends.

Primary Duties:

*Conducts assessments for patients to establish diet and food guidelines.

*Develop and implement an individualized plan for medical nutrition therapy in accordance with patients medical needs, goals and objectives.

*Develop and obtain patient nutrition education materials.

*Work closely with Food Service team to assure conformance to diet prescriptions.

*Participate in orientation of new Food Service team members with diet orders and tray line procedures.

Qualifications:

*Bachelors degree in dietetics, nutrition required

*Previous experience preferred

*Registered Dietitian current registration required OR registration eligible status with the American Dietetics Associations Commission of Dietetic Registration

*Current license required OR license eligible status with the Board of Dietetic Practice of the State of Maryland
