Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking an Experienced Certified Sterile Processing Technician to support a 24/hour per month PRN schedule. The role involves care and preparation of surgical instruments, inventory management, and sterilizer testing.

Dayshift Monday–Friday with on-site work in West Chester, PA. Must hold a Certified Sterile Processing Certificate and BLS, and have hospital materials management experience.

Qualifications

• Certification required for sterile processing.
• 2 years of instrument technician experience in hospital materials management.
• Graduate of accredited sterile processing program with clinical rotation or 400 hours.
• Knowledge of identifying and handling surgical instruments and equipment.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and care for surgical instruments and supplies.
• Maintain inventory levels and order supplies for the area.
• Test sterilizers and keep accurate records.
• Operate barcode instrument tracking system and ensure proper packaging.
