Bon Secours in Richmond is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) for St. Mary’s Hospital. You will assist pharmacists, process prescriptions, verify patient data, and educate patients on medication use.

The role requires ExCPT certification and State Board registration, with prior retail/ambulatory or hospital experience preferred. On-site schedule supports day/evening shifts and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have ExCPT certification and be registered with State Board of Pharmacy.
• Education: High School/GED required; further certification preferred.
• Experience in retail, ambulatory, outpatient, hospital or home infusion pharmacy preferred.
• Infection-control protocols knowledge is expected.

Responsabilités

• Receiving and verifying prescriptions for accuracy and authenticity.
• Reviewing patient information with prescriptions per guidelines.
• Educating patients on correct medication usage.
• Supporting the Pharmacist in daily pharmacy operations.
• Adhering to infection-control policies to protect staff and patients.
• Other duties as assigned.
