Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) for St. Mary’s Community Pharmacy. The role reports to the Pharmacist and involves preparing pharmaceuticals, inventory control, compliance audits, and customer service.

Education requires a High School Degree or GED, and valid ExCPT/PTCB certification with State Board registration. Experience in retail, ambulatory, hospital, or home infusion pharmacy is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED required.
• Valid ExCPT or PTCB certification with State Board registration preferred.
• Experience in Retail/Ambulatory/Hospital pharmacy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify prescriptions for accuracy and authenticity.
• Review patient information with prescriptions in line with guidelines.
• Educate patients on proper medication use and safety.
• Support the Pharmacist in daily operations and inventory control.
