Job summary

CommuniCare Rehab is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a PRN position at Evergreen Crossing and The L Healthcare Center in Indianapolis, IN. This role supports residents by helping them regain independence and functional skills through direct therapy and collaborative care.

The COTA works under an Occupational Therapist, participates in staff education, and contributes to family consultations and planning.

Qualifications

• COTA education from an accredited two-year associate degree program.
• Hold a valid or pending State Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant License.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Implements treatment plan through direct treatment and collaboration with an Occupational Therapist.
• Educates treatment staff and other team members involved in the plan.
• Consults with families and provides training as part of care.
• Ensures documentation complies with rehab department requirements under supervision.
