Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation in Illinois is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team. Working under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist, you will help treat patients by following individualized plans of care and participate in delivering evidence-based therapy.

You will assist with all phases of OT treatment, document patient responses, and communicate with the supervising OT, Rehab Director, and staff to coordinate care and ensure quality outcomes.

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• With assistance of Occupational Therapist, develop and implement occupational therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of Occupational Therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Occupational Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard occupational therapy equipment.
