Job summary

The Village at Rockville is seeking a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to support residents’ health and well‑being by safely administering medications and assisting with daily care needs. This PRN role offers meaningful patient contact and growth opportunities in a team‑oriented environment.

Responsibilities include administering prescribed meds, documenting administrations, following RN supervision, and maintaining strict confidentiality, with Maryland Board of Nursing certification

Qualifications

• Certified Medication Technician certification in good standing.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of hands-on experience as a CMT in a healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications safely and accurately.
• Document all medication administration and report changes in resident condition.
• Work under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN) or delegating nurse.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
• Follow Maryland Board of Nursing certification renewal requirements.
