Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an approved Nurse Aide Training Program or eligible to enter such a program and graduate and pass a state test within 120 days.
• Understanding of medication administration procedures and state training requirements.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Knowledge of resident care procedures and standards.
• Ability to make independent decisions when needed.
• Healthcare experience is desirable.

Aufgaben

• Set up and administer medications per physician orders and regulations.
• Chart routine meds, omissions, and PRN admin with follow-up notes.
• Maintain medication inventory and document controlled substances.
• Provide personal care and basic nursing tasks as required.
• Create a safe, comfortable environment and meet resident needs.
• Attend training and maintain certification and quality care standards.
