Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a per diem (PRN) Certified Medication Technician at South Central Correctional Center in Licking, Missouri. The role supports the facility’s medical operations by administering medications as prescribed and documenting each administration under nursing supervision.

The candidate must hold a Missouri CMT registry, insulin certification, CNA background, and CPR/BLS credentials, with prior acute care or correctional experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Must maintain active status on the Missouri State Certified Medication Technician (CMT) Registry.
• Insulin Certification required.
• Completion of an approved Certified Nurse Assistant program and maintenance of active status as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA).
• Must be actively certified in CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS).
• One year of experience in acute care, emergency, or correctional setting preferred.
• Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the facility Director of Nursing or nursing designee, administer medications as prescribed, document administration, and report any noted adverse actions or side effects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Must maintain active status on the Missouri State Certified Medication Technician (CMT) Registry (mo.tmutest.com).
• Insulin Certification required.
• Completion of an approved Certified Nurse Assistant program and maintenance of active status as a Certified Nurse Assistant (mo.tmutest.com).
• Must be actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
• One (1) year of experience in acute care, emergency, or correctional setting preferred.
• Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.
