The ideal candidate will hold a valid Medication Aide license, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and demonstrate strong teamwork within the nursing staff. This PRN position provides opportunities to contribute to high-quality patient care in a supportive facility.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school education or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Follow facility policies governing the administering of medications to residents.
• Accurately and safely prepare, administer, and document oral and/or topical medications.
• Verify resident identity before administering treatment.
• Maintain accurate medication charts and reports.
• Report medication errors or adverse reactions to the supervisor.
• Participate in Quality Assurance programs and pharmacological committees.
