Job summary

Select Physical Therapy is seeking a passionate PRN Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to support athletes in Des Moines, IA. Coverage includes secondary schools, colleges (Drake University), and community events with our outreach sports medicine team.

Type: Per Diem/PRN; Schedule varies. Compensation starts at $30/hr, commensurate with experience. Perks include CEUs, nationwide support network, 401(k) matching after 1,000 hours, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training required.
• NATA-BOC certification and CPR certification required.
• Applicable state license where required.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement therapeutic programs for injured athletes’ rehabilitation.
• Assess needs and apply athletic training techniques before and during games to reduce injury risk.
• Manage emergency incidents and coordinate EMS and acute care procedures.
• Promote the company at outreach events (races, clubs, etc.).
