PRN Medical Assistant – Hilton Head Orthopedics
Overview:
Join our dedicated team at Hilton Head Orthopedics, where you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care in a supportive and professional medical office setting. We’re seeking a skilled and compassionateMedical Assistantwho thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and is passionate about providing exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities:
Support physicians by assisting with patient assessments and treatment plans.
Accurately document patient information in electronic medical records in compliance with practice guidelines.
Prepare and maintain exam rooms, ensuring all medical equipment is properly set up and sanitized.
Assist providers during exams, procedures, and treatments.
Coordinate appointments and referrals for specialized consultations and diagnostic testing.
Ensure a safe and clean environment in alignment with clinic policies and health standards.

Qualifications:
Education:High School Diploma or GED required. Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting Program is mandatory.
Experience:At least 1 year of experience in a medical office or clinical setting.
Certifications:Current Medical Assistant certification and valid CPR certification are required.
