The Registered Nurse at HCA Florida University Hospital delivers compassionate, patient-centered care, applying critical thinking and leadership to planning and provision of nursing services in line with the Florida Nurse Practice Act.

You will work within a team to support clinical outcomes across the Stroke, Sepsis, and Enhanced Recovery programs, with opportunities to grow in a nationally recognized health system that emphasizes safety and patient satisfaction.

Formación

• RN (Registered Nurse) required and licensed per Florida standards.
• ACLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• BLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• PALS within 30 days of employment start date.
• Cath lab experience preferred or required depending on unit needs.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, direct and provide nursing care to patients in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment and leadership in patient care planning and delivery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for the care of the patient. The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for the planning, directing and provision of nursing care to patients in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act, physician’s orders, recognized nursing techniques, policies, procedures, established standards and administrative policies.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• (RN) Registered Nurse

• Associate Degree in Nursing required

• Needs to be experienced Cath lab RN
