HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital in Hudson, FL seeks a Pre/Post Cath Lab Registered Nurse to provide expert nursing care in a cardiac catheterization laboratory. You will guide patients through pre-, intra-, and post-procedural care, supporting physicians and ensuring accurate documentation.

The role emphasizes timely ACLS/BLS completion, NIH Stroke Scale compliance, and RN licensure. Expect a collaborative team environment with a focus on patient outcomes in a high-volume program.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required within 30 days of employment start date.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• Registered Nurse Diploma required; no travel and no prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care for Cardiac Cath patients pre, intra and post procedure.
• Assist physicians in operative procedures.
• Maintain and review patients’ records, including posting tests and examination results.

Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Pre/Post Cath Lab Registered Nurse in our Cardiac Catheterization Lab. You will provide clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care in a procedural environment. What you will do in this role:

• You will assess, plan, intervene and evaluate the care of Cardiac Cath patients pre, intra and post procedure.
• You will assist physicians in operative procedures.
• You will maintain and review patients’ records including posting tests and examination results
• You will administer medications in accordance with physician orders

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
