Job summary

Alto Duval Station, a senior living community in Jacksonville, FL, seeks a PRN Caregiver (Resident Assistant) for day shifts. This role supports residents with daily living activities under supervision, with the potential to grow into PT or FT positions.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented, with experience in healthcare or senior living and CPR/First Aid certifications. PRN to PT/FT growth opportunities are emphasized within the team.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• CNA certification preferred; PCA certificate may be accepted.
• State certification/licensure requirements must be met.
• Experience with seniors and memory-impaired residents preferred.
• Ability to work well in a team and maintain professionalism.
• Must be 18+ and pass background/health screenings and drug tests.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Assist dining and meal service; help with meals and cleanup.
• Respond to emergency calls and provide prompt assistance.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ condition to supervisors.
• Maintain documentation in accordance with policies and regulations.
• Support transportation and maintain a safe, clean environment.
