Job summary

Silverado The Huntington in Phoenix is seeking Caregivers to support residents with Alzheimer’s and dementia. This PRN, noc shift role combines empathy, reliability and relationship-building to create meaningful moments every day.

You’ll assist with daily living activities, build relationships with residents and families, and maintain care records while following safety protocols. Anticipated pay range is $17–$18 per hour, with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with Alzheimer’s or dementia is preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance are required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, dining, etc.).
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
• Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment.
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, dining, etc.)
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members
• Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred
• Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions (preferred but not required)
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
• Comfortable working around animals and pets

Schedule: PRN (Per Diem), NOC shift, 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM, variable days
