Job summary

Silverado is seeking caring individuals to join our memory care team. As a Caregiver you will provide hands-on support to residents living with Alzheimer's, dementia, and other memory-impairing conditions, while upholding dignity and joy.

This full-time role requires empathy, reliability, and strong communication. You’ll work the NOC shift and help residents with daily living activities, with competitive pay and benefits offered by Silverado.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with memory-impaired residents is preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality required.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, dining, etc.)
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members
• Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred
• Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions (preferred but not required)
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
• Comfortable working around animals and pets
