Job summary

One You Love Homecare of North, South, and West Houston is seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers to provide non-medical in-home support. You will help clients stay independent and safe, offer companionship, assist with daily living activities, light housekeeping, and transport to appointments as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior caregiving experience or work in home care is preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with daily living activities and mobility.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
• Maintain client safety and report changes in condition.
• Observe infection control and follow care plan protocols.
• Provide transportation for appointments and activities.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Remind clients to take medication.
• Clock in/out and document all tasks.

Job Summary

• As a caregiver, you will provide essential non-medical assistance to clients in their homes, helping them maintain independence and dignity. The role of a caregiver includes companionship, personal care support, assistance with daily living activities, and light housekeeping.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds
• Ability to assist clients with mobility and physical transfers.
• Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
