Job summary

Reid Health is seeking a PRN General Cardiology Inpatient Rounder to provide inpatient cardiovascular care in a consultative role. You will join a large cardiology program with 12 cardiologists and 7 APPs, rounding on acute cardiac conditions and participating in a structured call schedule.

The role supports weekend and weekday coverage, with access to interventional resources and a collegial team environment.

Qualifications

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiology.
• Open to newly trained fellows and practicing physicians.
• Must hold Indiana medical license (active).
• BLS/ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Rounding on acute cardiac conditions including NSTEMI, arrhythmias, and post-operative needs.
• Daytime rounds Monday through Friday with 24-hour weekend rounding.
• Provide inpatient cardiovascular consultative care and participate in call coverage.

Reid Health is seeking a patient-centered and empathetic PRN General Cardiology Inpatient Rounder to join our well-respected program. This is an exciting opportunity to provide inpatient cardiovascular care through a primarily consultative service.

Position Details

• Join group of 12 cardiologists and 7 APPs
• Convenient office location central to cath labs and inpatient hospital
• Responsibilities include rounding on a variety of acute cardiac conditions, including NSTEMI, arrythmias, and post-operative cardiac needs.
• Call Schedule: Weeknight call is Monday through Friday from 5pm to 8am. Weekend call consists of a 48 hour shift beginning at 8am on Saturday and concluding at 8am on Monday.
• Schedule Details: Includes in-person daytime rounding Monday through Friday, with 24-hour rounding coverage on Saturdays and Sundays.
• Access to interventional and EP lab for acute needs
