Job summary

St. David's North Austin Medical Center is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist for PRN opportunities. You will assist physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, prepare patients, and operate state-of-the-art cath lab equipment to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Qualifications

One year of Cath Lab Tech work experience preferred.
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) within 30 days of start date.
BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) within 30 days of start date.
EMT-State, ARRT-R, RVT, or RCIS credential acceptable.
Associate Degree required or work experience in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

Assisting physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements.
Preparing and supporting patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures.
Operating and maintaining advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment.
Monitoring patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care.
Safeguarding a sterile, safe environment while advocating for every patient.
