Job summary

Mental Health Cooperative in Nashville is seeking a PRN Transportation Specialist to help transport our consumers to and from designated appointments. Various work hours available for this role, great for retired drivers or anyone looking to supplement their income at their own pace.

Schedule: PRN shifts days/nights. Days: M–F 8am–5:30pm (≤8 hours), Sat-Sun 10am-6pm; Nights: 7pm–11pm, 7 days a week.

Qualifications

• Must be 25 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Tennessee Driver’s License.
• Acceptable MVR and “F” Endorsement.
• Acceptable Criminal Background Investigation.
• Personal Automobile Insurance.

Responsibilities

• Transport consumers to and from designated appointments.
• Transport to and from hospitals and/or residential/community locations for EPS.
• Communicate with Transportation Supervisor regarding consumer concerns and transportation issues.
• Attend team, department and Agency meetings as required.
• Maintain MHC vehicles in optimal condition and report concerns.
• Inspect assigned vehicle at shift start and complete inspection form.
• Complete all required paperwork legibly and timely.
• Respond promptly to communications with office.
• Plan and manage routes, calling consumers prior to leaving the office.
