Job summary

Select PhysicalTherapy in Lemoyne, PA is seeking a passionate PRN Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to provide care for athletes. The role involves coordinating access to additional health care, with local high school contracts and a per diem schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree required.
• NATA certification required.
• CPR certification required.
• Applicable state license where required.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement specific therapeutic programs for injured athletes’ rehabilitation.
• Determine the need for and administer athletic training techniques before and during games/practices to decrease injury risk (taping, wrapping, bracing, hydration, minor wound care).
• Assess effectiveness of training/rehabilitation and record changes as per the plan of care.
• Manage emergency incidents, coordinate EMS and acute care procedures including basic life support.
• Seek outreach opportunities and participate in events to promote the company (races, club teams, etc.).
