UHS is seeking a PRN Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to oversee the quality of care for a caseload of 20 under the supervision of a psychiatrist. The APRN will perform psychiatric assessments, complete civil-commitment documentation, and provide individual/family therapy or medication management as needed.
The role requires on-call availability, weekend work, and a 32-hour weekly schedule, with opportunities for consultations and psychiatric input as requested.
We are pleased to announce the following open position of PRN Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN). This position oversees the quality of care delivered to assigned patients (caseload of 20) with supervising psychiatrist. Performs psychiatric assessments for individuals under his/her care. Completes documentation necessary to address patients hospitalized under civil commitment statutes. Provides individual therapy, family therapy and/or medication management as needed for patients. Appropriately requests consultation when indicated. Provides psychiatric consultation when requested. The ARNP must be available to work on call and weekends, 32 hours a week and work some weekends.
