Job summary

TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a PRN nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our hospital medicine team at HCA Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross, Georgia.

You will work as-needed for 8-hour shifts with a highly flexible schedule and potential to transition to a full-time role if an opening arises. Inpatient hospital medicine experience is preferred; EMR is Meditech.

Qualifications

• Inpatient hospital medicine experience preferred or required.
• ACUTE CARE certification preferred for advanced practice clinicians.
• Experience with PRN shifts and flexible scheduling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work PRN shifts on the hospital medicine team.
• Potential coverage in ICU as needed.
• Provide inpatient medical care within standard guidelines.

TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a PRN nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our highly skilled hospital medicine team at HCA Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross, Georgia! In this role, you will work as-needed, 8 hour shifts with our inpatient hospital medicine team. This role offers a highly flexible schedule and also serves as a great opportunity for a clinician interested in transitioning to a full-time role in the future, should an opening become available. HCA Memorial Satilla Health

• 231-bed comprehensive acute-care facility
• Key services include a busy ED, our heart, orthopedic, surgery, rehabilitation, sleep, and birthing centers with specialists trained specifically for these needs; and an extensive mental health program
• EMR: Meditech

Position Overview

• PRN (as-needed) schedule with maximum flexibility
• Flexible scheduling: typically 8-hour shift coverage
• Minimum PRN commitment: availability to work at least 3 shifts within a six-month period
• Competitive PRN compensation
• Inpatient clinician experience is strongly preferred
• Coverage may include ICU
• Average census: 13
• No codes or rapids
• Acute care certification is preferred
