TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a PRN nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our highly skilled hospital medicine team at HCA Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross, Georgia! In this role, you will work as-needed, 8‑hour shifts with our inpatient hospital medicine team. This role offers a highly flexible schedule and also serves as an excellent opportunity for a clinician interested in transitioning to a full‑time role in the future, should an opening become available.

HCA Memorial Satilla Health is a 231‑bed comprehensive acute‑care facility. Key services include a busy ED, heart, orthopedic, surgery, rehabilitation, sleep, and birthing centers with specialists trained specifically for these needs, and an extensive mental health program. EMR: Meditech.

Position Overview

• PRN (as-needed) schedule with maximum flexibility.
• Flexible scheduling: typically 8‑hour shift coverage.
• Minimum PRN commitment: availability to work at least 3 shifts within a six‑month period.
• Competitive PRN compensation.
• Inpatient clinician experience is strongly preferred.
• No solo clinician coverage required.
• Coverage may include ICU.
• Average admissions: 8 per day.
• Average census: 13.
• No codes or rapids.
• Acute care certification is preferred.
