Job summary

Munson Healthcare seeks an Advanced Life Support Instructor to deliver ACLS/PALS courses in accordance with AHA guidelines. The role requires current instructor status or readiness to obtain within one month of hire, and at least two years of advanced patient care experience.

We value strong communication and feedback skills to mentor learners. This full-time, day-shift position is based at Munson Life Support Training Center and includes full benefits and tuition support.

Qualifications

• Current American Heart Association ACLS or PALS instructor status required, or ability to obtain within one month of hire
• Current BLS provider status required, or ability to obtain within one month of hire
• Advanced licensure (EMT/Paramedic/RN/PA/Physician) preferred
• Two or more years of advanced patient care experience required

Responsibilities

• Teach ACLS or PALS courses following American Heart Association guidelines
• Teach at least two advanced courses per year for Munson Life Support Training Center
• Provide constructive feedback to learners and document progress

A Day inthe Life

An Advanced Life Support Instructor at Munson Healthcare is a position for instructors who are certified to teach ACLS or PALS courses following the American Heart Association guidelines. The instructor possesses good communication and feedback skills.

The instructor should teach at least two advanced courses per year for the Munson Life Support Training Center.

What’s Required

• Current American Heart Association ACLS or PALS instructor status required, or ability to obtain within one month of hire

Current BLS provider status required, or ability to obtain within one month of hire

Advanced EMT, Paramedic, Respiratory Therapist, RN, Physician Assistant or Physician licensure preferred

Two or more years of advanced patient care required

Munson Healthcare requires all employees be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella.
