Job summary

Munson Healthcare is seeking an Advanced Life Support Instructor to teach ACLS and PALS courses in accordance with American Heart Association guidelines. The role requires current instructor status or the ability to obtain it within one month of hire, plus a BLS provider credential and 2+ years of advanced patient care.

The candidate should have licensure in a relevant field (EMT, Paramedic, RN, PA, or Physician) and a track record of effective instruction and feedback.

Qualifications

• Current American Heart Association ACLS or PALS instructor status required, or ability to obtain within one month of hire.
• Current BLS provider status required, or ability to obtain within one month of hire.
• Advanced EMT, Paramedic, Respiratory Therapist, RN, PA or Physician licensure preferred.
• Two or more years of advanced patient care required.
• Critical care training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach at least two advanced courses per year for the Munson Life Support Training Center.
• Instructors certified to teach ACLS or PALS following American Heart Association guidelines.
• Demonstrate strong communication and feedback skills when instructing learners.

• An Advanced Life Support Instructor at Munson Healthcare is a position for instructors who are certified to teach ACLS or PALS courses following the American Heart Association guidelines. The instructor possesses good communication and feedback skills.
• The instructor should teach at least two advanced courses per year for the Munson Life Support Training Center.

Additional Information
