Job summary

You will evaluate patients, develop and adjust treatment plans, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and case managers to optimize recovery and discharge planning.

The role requires graduation from ACOTE-approved OT program, NBCOT certification, active or pending state licensure, and BLS

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ACOTE approved occupational therapy program.
• NBCOT certification is required or by pending licensure status.
• Current or pending state licensure is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based, quality care to each patient empowering them to the previous level of functioning or proceed to next level of care.
• Establish timely treatment plans for each patient’s specific needs.
• Demonstrate a positive connection with patients, families, fellow clinicians, and hospital team members.
• Build and maintain relationships throughout the hospital (physicians, case management, nurses, etc).
