Job summary

You will assist an Occupational Therapist, prepare equipment, build patient relationships, and collaborate with clinicians across the hospital.

The role requires ACOTE-approved OTA program, licensure, and BLS; PRN weekend and holiday shifts are included.

Qualifications

• ACOTE-approved occupational therapy assistant program.
• Current or pending state licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment for treatment and assist an Occupational Therapist with rehabilitative activities for patients.
• Establish strong relationships with each patient so that they have ability to exceed their functional goals.
• Demonstrate a positive connection with patients, patient families, fellow clinicians, and other hospital team members.
• Build and maintain relationships throughout the hospital (i.e. physicians, case management, nurses, etc).
